Bio: Once, a very long time ago, the world was a very different place that was filled

with much strife and hardships. Humanity, in their need to survive, turned to the

deities for guidance and assistance with matters that went beyond their purview of

power. These gods were born of the needs of man, charged with the duty of overseeing their mortal lives, and were rewarded with prayers, offerings, and special tributes built in their honor for their services to humanity. Some gods were revered and praised for their powers, while others were not held as dear. The gods who had something helpful to contribute to humans were looked upon with awe, whereas those that were born of darker elements were only praised by those to whom were the victors in war. And war was an ever present companion in the lives of men.

As time passed and humans expanded their knowledge into the fields of science and technology, their reliance on the deities that had supported them grew less and less. In the modern world, only the oldest and most beloved of the gods, those to whom usually had a holiday or special annual event in their honor, were the ones who still were ever present in the minds of man. The mighty powers of the deities were forgotten, or only referenced in mythological studies, and so the gods suffered for it. Many perished without the tidings and thoughts of humans to sustain them, simply ceasing to exist. Many began to take on a human form and find ways to promote their names in the lives of man. A scant few were able to get by with reinventing themselves, casting aside their original roles to assume a new identity.

Yori falls into the last category. He was once an incredibly powerful god that had been comfortably within the fold of the higher ranks. However, his reputation had not been an enviable one. He had gone by a different name then though, and that name has not been spoken for many centuries. Most other deities assumed he had vanished from existence like many others had. In a way, that could be considered true - he had, after all, put his true identity behind him and forged ahead under the new alias of "Yori".

His new life was filled with struggles. It was incredibly difficult to get humans to go back to regarding deities the way they once had, and so as a 'nobody' of a god trying to garner a good reputation, Yori is forced to resort to posting ads in cities as a "jack of all trades" sort of helper. He'll do anything... for a small price. No, really, his fee is ridiculously cheap and barely keeps him afloat. Missing pet? He'll search for it. Leaky roof? Consider it repaired. Got a stalker? He'll ward the creep away. Need a temp for the office? You'll find no one more capable. Yori will do whatever you need him to do, so long as you pay him and leave a good review on the ad service app. If he can become a popular god, even if guised as a human, then perhaps he can afford to relax a little again. He won't be able to do it alone though.

If you happen to find him staring off into space during moments of free time, please don't mind the pinched expression you might catch him wearing if he thinks you're not looking. It's not easy being a god on the verge of disappearing.
