"Who am I? No one special. I'm just a vigilante, so feel free to call me whatever you want."

Name: "Captain" or Dante (Goes by many names for clients, presumably aliases).

Age: 20

Species: Human

Occupation: Pirate, Mercenary

Personality: Snarky, Conniving, Charming, Loyal, Deadly

Bio: He is extremely dependable when it comes to his crew, but the only name his mates

know him by is 'Dante', which is assuredly an alias but he refuses to provide any

personal information. On the occasion that someone asks his life story, it always

changes. Casting away the past he once despised, no one on the ship knows where he

came from or why his passion to eliminate the royals remains as strong as it has

even if with little progression in the rebellion.

The Captain's roots are actually that of being a prince... sort of. His mother is the

princess of a neighboring kingdom that became a queen upon marrying the king

of the nation Dante was born in. His father? A merchant that had a short-lived but

passionate love affair with the beautiful royal maiden betrothed to the king. Dante is

the bastard creation of a one night fling that enraged the king so much he was sentenced to death upon birth... initially. To avoid scandal taking root in his court (and more importantly to have blackmail against his reluctant queen) the king decided to bring the child up as his own. But the dream of having 'his' first born become yet another oppressor was doomed from the beginning, as Dante inevitably learned he was not of complete royal blood.

He was raised with the skills of poise and persuasion, yet he had never felt more out of place than being amongst the nobles. The ways and mannerisms, the selfishness, and the complete lack of interest in the common people made him sick. He ran, ran far away to escape the hideous lifestyle of the rich after being exposed to what they tried to sweep beneath the rug, the ugly truths of the aristocracy.

At the age of 11 he was a wanderer. Starved. Exploited. Until eventually he found his salvation in the form of a company of arms dealers, stealing away into the night and leaving behind the city that never felt like home.

For years, it was as if the boy had been wiped clean from the entire world. Not a trace of him left but the frustration of the king who merely claimed his wife's child had fallen ill and been replaced with the other royal children. But at the age of 17, he returned in the midst of the start of a rebellion to begin his work.

Nowadays, he makes his living as an outlaw. He steals, trades illegal goods, and kills those whom get in his way. His favorite targets are nobles. He does his homework, digging up dirt on crooked aristocrats and using that against them. Make no mistake though, Dante is no Robin Hood... he keeps some of the spoils for funding his crew, and his motive is ultimately to exact punishment on those whom often evade the law. He will help the common people in his own ways, but most of the time there is some aspect of the work that benefits him as well. To give charity is to pity people, and Dante refuses to burden others with the all too familiar, bitter taste that such pity leaves behind.
